In the scope of ICCI 2015 Energy Prizes, in the Geothermal Power Plant Category, Efeler 2 Geothermal Power Plant was found worthy to be awarded the “The Best Geothermal Power Plant Prize”.

Efeler Geothermal Power Plant has installed capacity of 22.5 MW, and the investment and the construction has been executed by GÜRİŞ. In the context of the same investment, GÜRİŞ has established the Geothermal Power Plant with installed capacity 162,5 MW. With the investments under construction, the final capacity will reach 232.2 MW.

Efeler GPP will be the biggest Geothermal Power Plant in Turkey, and the second biggest Geothermal Power Plant in Europe.
